WHAT IS IT ?


The Universal Voice Mod (UVM) wants to bring back local voice packs to life , but on the server side this time.
By using the Server Actor method , the UVM spawns onto any map/gamemode and integrates the voices available.
The compatibility with mods is high , but not 100% perfect , there might be special mods that block UVM the access to the singleton , preventing it to work.


WHAT'S IN IT ?

The UVM comes at this moment with 7 new voices :

Japanese
Althalos
Carac
Jack
Merek
Sadon
Ulric

and more to come !


GREAT BUT HOW DO I INSTALL IT ?


1. Install the mod on your server via the ID.

Add this line in your game.ini file , under the existing section "[/Script/Mordhau.MordhauGameSession]":

Mods=147969

2. Add the mod onto the SpawnServerActor Method.


In the game.ini file , under the section "[/Script/Mordhau.MordhauGameMode]" , add the following line :


SpawnServerActorsOnMapLoad=/Game/Mordhau/Maps/UniversalVoiceMod/BP_UniversalVoices.BP_UniversalVoices_C

3. Save the game.ini file and you are good to go !



This is the first release , expect some volume problems (maybe) and some other problems , especially the compatibility with some maps.
As of now , it seems the modification of the footstep systems alter this mod , so maps like Iceberg might not work.
Despacito Captains mode for example is compatible , as well as the CoatofArms Roleplay mod
