Tire Sound Enhancement

Enhance your farming experience with this global script that adds realistic tire sounds to all tractors. The mod activates tire sounds for tractors with a maximum speed of at least 30 km/h. Experience the immersive sound effects as you drive on roads and concrete slabs, with variations depending on the type of tires, including standard knobby tires, wing tires, tracks, and Nokian tires.

Note that some tractors in the base game already feature tire sounds since Farming Simulator 22, hence the sound is disabled by default. You can enable it upon purchasing the tractor from the shop, where you can also adjust the volume from 40% to 300%. For tractors already in your save game, a visit to the workshop is required to activate the sound. The recommended volume setting for tractors with original Giants sound is between 100% and 125%, with potentially higher settings for modded tractors.

In addition to tractors, self-propelled sprayers and agricultural trucks with rough knobby tires, such as Tatra Phoenix Agro-Trucks and Ural trucks from Axary, are also supported.

You can modify the default volume setting in the shop configuration via the “modDesc.xml” file using “defaultVolumeConfigPercent”. If further adjustments are needed, the “tireSound.xml” file in the “sounds” folder can be used to tweak the “volumeScale”. However, most users will find no changes necessary.
