TIE-2b Heavy Fighter

Once again new from ASE, the TIE/2b keeps all the features of the core frame for our TIE line but trades the decoy-based wings for a pair of remote rocket batteries. Though sitting much higher at 7k PCU, the TIE/2 is equipped with a docking camera, hydrogen generator, 2 minuguns, parachutes, ore detectors, and detachable wings. New to the 2b, however, are the diminished (but not nonexistent) decoy units, quad missile pods, and remote control systems that allow each wing to become a functional missile turret. As with the previous variant, the ship functions well in gravity, though the 2b's heavier wings slow it down during atmospheric use.
