The Shoreline of Lake Michigan

Welcome to The Shoreline of Lake Michigan. This fictional map is inspired by the northwest tip of Michigan's lower peninsula, offering a challenging farming experience. With sandy soil near the lake and extreme weather conditions, your farming skills will be put to the test. If farming becomes too difficult, you can explore the vast northern forests for forestry, although the steep terrain presents its own challenges. The stunning scenery of Lake Michigan's shoreline compensates for the demanding environment. This map features a variety of farming options, including dairy farming, traditional crop farming, fruit orchards, greenhouses, and a bee garden for honey harvesting. There are 43 fields and 113 purchasable farmlands. Five prebuilt farms are available for purchase. The main farm is equipped for crop farming with a small sheep barn and chicken coop, and includes a preplanted alfalfa field for sheep feed. Three other farms are dedicated to dairy, varying in size, with one featuring a separate pasture for water buffalo. The last prebuilt farm offers a rustic style with older buildings. Additional standalone houses are available for purchase for those starting from scratch or looking to upgrade. The map includes multiple production and selling points, such as an antique mall, bakeries, a bee garden, and various factories. New crops include alfalfa, clover, flowering catchcrop, and more. The map also introduces new features like a row crop system, additional ground angles, stubble destruction, and updated corn textures. Custom weather patterns, sunrises, sunsets, and lighting enhance the experience. If you own the Highlands pack, you can access a boat for fishing on Lake Michigan, but note that it is only accessible to the host in multiplayer mode.
