St. Lawrence Map

Welcome to St. Lawrence!

BETA: This map is fully functional but requires more work before being submitted to modhub. Constructive feedback is very welcome!

This fictional map is inspired by the long, narrow farm strips of Quebec, where plots extended perpendicularly from the St. Lawrence River. This arrangement ensured that every farmer had access to a road or riverfront, the most valuable resource for transportation and trade. The great depth of each plot also made fieldwork more efficient, allowing oxen or horses to plow long, straight rows without frequent turning.

The map offers a smaller scale with a big feel, including 17 fields. Most fields range from 7-8 Ha, with the smallest around 2 Ha and the largest around 14 Ha. (1 Ha = 2.47 acres)

Farmland prices are affordable. Farmland 100 is free and covers the main road and other parts of the map in case you wish to edit them.

Many farmlands include a small patch of forest to satisfy your forestry needs.

Designed with single player in mind, the starting dairy farm is well equipped, including a custom fermenting silo and TMR mixer connected to the cow pen.

A vehicle workshop trigger has been added to the vehicle garage.

The map includes an animal dealer, a gas station, a vehicle dealer, a warehouse, and an export dealer that should cover all your needs.

Factories are not included, but you can add these at your convenience.

Alfalfa has been added to the map for diversity, behaving like grass.

• Fix bushes and tree lines around the map. (Repetitive)
• Translations FR/DE
• Add additional street lights / lights at the animal dealer.
• Enhance aesthetics at the various sell points
• Create a fancier PDA
