Sheepfold La Blaquière

This sheepfold is inspired by the historical 'Reproach' sheepfold located in Larzac, France. Built in 1973 by 3,000 people without a permit, it symbolized resistance against military expansion and promoted sustainable farming.

Constructed from limestone blocks and roofed with tiles, the building has a large quadrangular layout. Its roof is supported by diaphragm arches and triangular buttresses. Beneath the high square windows, a message is inscribed in various languages: "Weapons have always been the instruments of barbarism."
