Owendale Michigan

Welcome to Owendale, Michigan. In 1882, as three new railways began laying tracks in Huron County, two cousins from Saginaw, Michigan, John G. and John S. Owen, purchased land in the Columbia Swamp. The following year, they opened a sawmill to harvest the native oak. John G. Owen hired Quincy Thomas, a civil engineer, to survey a town site in 1887. The streets, alleys, and parks were dedicated to public use, and the village was named Owendale. The sawmill burned in 1896, and the Owendale area transitioned from lumbering to agriculture.

The map features an alfalfa crop and includes animal integration. There are 32 fields ranging from small to large sizes. Although there is not much forestry, a sawmill is available if you wish to create a forest. The town hosts 7 production facilities, and there is a grain dryer on the main farm. You can purchase seed, lime, and fertilizer at the Pioneer dealer. When it rains, the drainage ditches fill with water. Precision Farming is implemented by default. The area is inspired by Saginaw, Michigan, focusing more on farming than logging. In the fall, white-tailed deer and wild turkeys can be spotted.
