Owendale, Michigan
V 2.0.0.3 mod for Farming Simulator 25
description
Welcome to Owendale, Michigan. In 1882, as three new railroads began to lay track in Huron County, two cousins from Saginaw, Michigan, John G. and John S. Owen, purchased land in the Columbia Swamp. The following year, they opened a sawmill to harvest the native oak. John G. Owen hired Quincy Thomas, a civil engineer, to survey a town site in 1887. The streets, alleys, and parks were dedicated to the public for their perpetual use, and the village was named Owendale. The sawmill burned in 1896, and the Owendale area transitioned from lumbering to agriculture.
This map features an alfalfa crop added and integrated with the animals. There are 32 fields ranging from small to medium and large sizes. While there is not much forestry, a sawmill is available if you wish to create a forest. The town hosts 7 production sites and a grain dryer on the main farm. You can purchase seed, lime, and fertilizer at the Pioneer dealer. When it rains, the drainage ditches will fill with water. Precision Farming is implemented by default. The area is based on Saginaw, Michigan, focusing more on farming than logging. Additionally, white-tailed deer appear in the fall alongside wild turkeys.
