If you use the Seasons mod the cattle can graze in the wild from spring to late autumn, once winter is arriving you can move the cattle to a barn with a stall cattle shed.

You can feed the animals by placing hay, fresh grass, or a mixed total ration in the feed trough in the centre of the pen. A water trough is available for watering your animals.

In this pen you don´t need straw to keep the animals clean. Cattle in the pen also don´t produce any manure, slurry or milk.
