9K317M Buk-M3 TELAR

The is a Russian Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) system designed to replace the older 2K12 Kub SAM system. Unlike its predecessor, each TELAR (Transporter Erector Launcher and Radar) in the Buk system is equipped with its own fire control radar, enhancing its operational flexibility and survivability. The Buk-M1 entered service in 1983 with improved radar and ECM resistance. The Buk-M2, introduced in 1998, brought further upgrades including the 9M317 missile, which extended its range and improved performance.
